But the real reason this technique works so well isn’t readily apparent.  I see, what really makes it so successful is that no one else does this.  In fact, no one else even considers doing this.

Everyone else either does nothing at all or proposes some cheesy sales pitch that is far more beneficial to them than the union members they want to reach.  All this does is get their proposal a swift trip to the trash basket.

Because no one else does this, when the head of an organization is approached this way – especially when they can sample your expertise on the spot through your free report – they are completely blown away.  This is probably the first time they have ever been approached with anything so beneficial to their members.  Which makes it a piece of cake for me to become their resident expert.

This arrangement should benefit all concerned.  I get to provide tremendous added value for your union members.  Your members and their families have a legal expert at their disposal free of charge, and we get exposure that we hope will be beneficial to our practice.

At the same time, we want to stress that we will not solicit business from your members or their families.  If they wish to inquire about additional services we offer, we will be happy to be of help.  But they will never be pressured or “sold” during our consultations or presentations.
