Preparing Your Very Own Legally Stealing Advertising Campaign
Once your advertising message is completed, it is now time to test your legally stealing message out on your market. Contact 20-30 of your existing customers, ask them to read the legally stealing advertisement that you and your staff create. Ask your existing customers if your new offer would entice them to take immediate action; i.e., phone in for a free report, brochure, price quote, sample or consultation. What you’re looking for are enthusiastic responses such as, “I’d do that deal in a minute,” or “This is the best offer I’ve ever heard of,” or “I’ll take one right away.” Your legally stealing message must create a sense of urgency that compels the prospect to contact you immediately.
If your test group of 20-30 existing customers indicate that they really aren’t that excited, or your offer wasn’t really that great, ask them for their input and comments. How can you change your offer so that it creates excitement and direct response? Be creative. Let your ideas flow. Try to position yourself in the place of your competitor’s best customers and prospects. What would you have to hear or read that would get you to switch with whom you’re presently doing business?
